Aim of the Programme
This course will have the Healthcare Professionals become more comfortable with understanding and using manual defibrillation, transcutaneous pacing, and synchronized cardioversion with Philips DFM100, Intrepid and Tempus Advanced Life Support (ALS).

Ryan is an experienced and multi-faceted EMS consultant with twenty years of experience in the field.
Ryan started his career as a volunteer firefighter, and this has proven to be a rewarding life experience that has injected much value and passion into his career.
Ryan has received several awards citations for heroism and valor for providing life-saving treatment. In one of these incidences, a plane crashed in his neighborhood while Ryan was off duty. As some houses were set on fire and families trapped within, the firefighter in him jumped right in and through this tragic ordeal, he managed to save several people including a father and son.
Ryan's career is centred on the provision of medical training and knowledge in trauma care, to better prepare individuals for traumatic emergencies. These include injury mind-set, bleeding/haemorrhage control, airway management, chest injuries and resuscitation.
